Nothing in the Bible text Blumrich used supports his claim that the vehicle was round. The single German-language Bible translation that Blumrich relies upon as the basis of his theory erroneously says that a foot was "round". Blumrich interpreted this as a description of landing gear. (Chap. 5 Fischinger interview) However, Blumrich simply assumes that the vehicle itself also was round. He does not cite any biblical text to support this assumption. He then devises an entire vehicle on the basis of this completely unsupported assumption.
Verses Blumrich cites that mention "round" — CHAPTER 1 —
— CHAPTER 10 —
Verses Blumrich cites that mention wheels — CHAPTER 1 —
— CHAPTER 3 —
— CHAPTER 10 —
— CHAPTER 11 —
As we can see, Blumrich quotes a lot of verses having to do with "round". But none of them are talking about the shape of the vehicle itself. No one writing about Blumrich or Ezekiel has noticed this! It's obvious from this site that I have spent years working with Blumrich's text in quite a bit of detail and I didn't notice it until I had worked closely with the text for more than three years! And, of course, if there is no source text whatsoever to support Blumrich's conclusion that the vehicle was round, that means that his fundamental conclusions about the shape being chosen for aerodynamic reasons, etc., are
nothing more than unsupported speculation. |
